Girl Scout Overnights:
Friday June 5-Saturday June 6, 2026
NEAM Scout Overnights run from 5:30pm on Friday to 9:00am on Saturday. Registration is $75 per person and includes a buffet dinner, hot buffet breakfast, and late-night snack, as well as a New England Air Museum patch and exclusive Overnight activities including open cockpit experiences in real aircraft, hands-on programs, flight simulators, a film screening, and more! Participants also receive a full day’s admission to the New England Air Museum the day their Overnight ends (a $23 value), as well as half-price admission for immediate family members who join them at the museum that day.
Scouting America Scout Overnights: These Scout Overnights are open to all scouts registered with Scouting America and their families, including non-scout siblings ages 5 and older. Overnight policies can be found in the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 Scouting America Overnight Guide. We recommend scout leaders review this document with their groups prior to submitting a deposit.
Girl Scout Overnights: These Scout Overnights are open to registered Girl Scouts and registered Girl Scout volunteers or parents/legal guardians of participating Girl Scouts, in keeping with Girl Scouts of Connecticut policies. Overnight policies can be found in the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 Girl Scout Overnight Guide. We recommend scout leaders review this document with their groups prior to submitting a deposit.
NEAM Scout Overnights are capped at 200 participants for Scouting America Overnights and 150 participants for Girl Scout Overnights. Group reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration closes 45 days prior to the Overnight, or when the Overnight sells out, whichever occurs first.
A $40 per person non-refundable deposit is required to reserve spots. Group leaders will need to submit their group's final payment due weeks prior to the event along with their group's Participant Roster and a certificate of insurance from their council. Overnight participants will need to submit one signed Release Form per household at check-in during the event.

NEAM Aviation Merit Badge Workshops provide Scouting America Scouts ages 10 and older with an opportunity to earn the Aviation Merit Badge Workshop in a single day through direct instruction and hands-on learning with our Merit Badge Counselors. Workshops are limited to 20 scouts and are recommended for scouts ages 13 and older. Scouts must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop, and must be present for the full workshop to complete the badge. Registration closes one month prior to each workshop date, or when the workshop sells out, whichever happens first.

Participants should bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy at the museum during the scheduled lunch break, and upon completing the workshop, participants will be welcome to explore the museum on their own until closing at 4:00pm.
1. Scouts must be registered with Scouts America and be at least 11 years old at the time of the workshop. Given the academic content of these workshops, we recommend them for scouts ages 13 and older.
2. Participants should notify their scout leader of their intent to complete this Merit Badge in accordance with Scouting America policy. Scouts should also bring a Blue Card signed by their scout leader to the workshop.
3. Participants are encouraged to read the Aviation Merit Badge Handbook prior to the workshop.
4. Participants are encouraged use the Aviation Merit Badge Workbook provided by the museum to take notes during the workshop.
$60 workshop fee includes registration for one scout and one accompanying adult chaperone. All scouts must have an onsite chaperone for the duration of the workshop. Workshop fees include museum admission.

These fun-filled workshops offer Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes ages 8-14 a fun-filled day of learning about the science of flight and pioneering women in aviation through the museum's collection of historic aircraft and hands-on activities. Participants should bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy at the museum. This program fulfills all requirements of the Brownie Fling Flyer Design Workshop.

$60 workshop fee includes registration for one Girl Scout and one accompanying chaperone. Fees also include a museum patch for Girl Scouts as well as museum admission for Girl Scouts and their accompanying chaperone. Girl Scouts must remain chaperoned at all times while on museum property. Registration closes one month prior to the workshop date or when the workshop sells out, whichever happens first.
Registration is limited to 20 Girl Scouts per workshop.
