5:30 PM Reception
6:45 PM Program
The New England Air Museum is honored to be creating an extraordinary exhibit, The Tuskegee Airmen: Their Untold Stories. As America’s first Black military aviators, the Tuskegee Airmen achieved excellence in the face of racism and discrimination during World War II. They fought two wars: one alongside our allies to defeat the Nazis and the other against racism and injustice.
The Tuskegee Airmen changed the world. Help us tell their story—and keep their legacy alive. To support this effort, the museum is hosting a fundraising event with a keynote address by LLoyd W. "Fig" Newton, a retired four-star General who served over 34 years with the United States Air Force. There will also be a panel discussion featuring Tuskegee Airman Lt. Col. George E. Hardy, USAF (Ret) and Gordon L. Smith and Anne Palmer, children of Tuskegee Airmen.
There will be an optional VIP meet & greet and welcome reception prior to the program.
