Group Tours

The Museum offers guided tours for visitors of all ages. Tours are offered between 10am-3pm, Monday - Sunday. The price is $8.00 per person including leaders and supervisors. The average length of each tour is 2 hours. The minimum participants to book a tour must be 15 or more.

Upon your arrival, our docents will meet your group and take you on a fully guided tour through the Museum's three large display hangars. You will see helicopters, modern jets and trophy-winning racers. Take a close look at the airplanes that so proudly served in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Storm. Marvel at our fascinating exhibits which tell the story of the men and women who built, flew, and made history with these fabulous machines.

The great thing about our tours is their flexibility. A variety of demonstrations, interactive activities, stories and themes are available. Our guided tours are both educational and entertaining and have been enjoyed by thousands of visitors for the past several years. Our docents can customize tours to meet your needs.

By prior arrangements dining facilities can be provided; we can also provide catered hot and cold meals.

On your way out, you can visit our fine gift shop that stocks a wide variety of aviation models, books, and toys in all price ranges.

Audio Tour
The audio tour is a recent addition to the museum. It consists of an audio wand and a map of the indoor hangars. Visitors simply use the supplied map to locate the numbered pylons around the Museum, type the pylon number into the handset, and listen to the in-depth narration. This fascinating tour takes visitors through the history of flight from man's earliest recorded attempts at engineering a flying machine through the present. The tour has 30 stops at the Museum's major exhibits and takes approximately one hour to complete.

Rental fee for the Audio Tour is $3.00 for non-members and FREE for NEAM members.

A Unique and very Special Gift

Treat yourself, a family member or that significant someone with a truly distinctive present.  Ask about the New England Air Museum’s VIP gift certificate, for a very personal and customized tour of the facility.

Included are several “behind the scenes” aspects of the museum.  Possibilities are many for this tailored tour, such as a visit to the restoration hangar, entry into a cockpit rarely open to a visitor, and some “up close” looks from a perspective not usually seen by visitors.
