Membership Trip to Ottawa Canada

Ottawa is Canada’s capital, a dynamic showcase city of more than one million people. Located in Ontario at the Quebec border, it’s a place where you’ll hear English and French spoken in the streets; where you can discover Canada’s proud heritage at impressive national sites and famous landmarks, including the Rideau Canal (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It’s a city steeped in culture, with world-class museums and galleries displaying stunning national collections and special exhibitions from Canada and around the world. (Source: ottawatourism.ca)


Itinerary:

Tuesday, Oct. 10: Depart from Bradley Int'l Airport for Ottawa. Upon arrival stop for a lunch (on your own) and travel to Diefenbunker: Canada's Cold War Museum for a self guided tour. We will depart for our hotel, Andaz Ottawa Byward Market in the central business district. Breakfast is on your own each morning. A group dinner is planned this evening.
Wednesday, Oct. 11: Depart by motorcoach to the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum for a guided tour; group lunch and restoration tour. Dinner is on your own.
Thursday, Oct. 12: Depart by motorcoach for a guided tour of this beautiful city with a private guide. Upon completion of this tour, the afternoon is yours to explore. Dinner is on your own.
Friday, Oct. 13: Free day to explore Ottawa.
Saturday, Oct. 14: Our flight is late in the day; you have the morning to continue visiting the sights. Depart by motorcoach for the airport and our return flight to Hartford.

The trip, which includes round-trip airfare, four nights hotel, one group lunch, one group dinner, all motorcoach transportation & gratuities, and all admissions, is offered to Museum members at the price of $1,800 for double accommodations and $2,100 for single accommodations. Non-members add $150 per person to the cost. This trip requires a valid passport.

This tour is limited to 20 persons. Reservations can be made with a payment in full to secure a seat on a first-come, first-served basis. This is not only an opportunity for you to have another outstanding adventure, but you will also be supporting NEAM to carry its mission. Thank you for your continued support! Note: if you would like to extend your visit to Ottawa, it is suggested that you purchase your own airline tickets. Purchasing tickets through group sales does not allow for altering of the itinerary.
