Henry was a N.Y.S. Conservation Officer from 1946, and assigned to the Ulster County townships on the western gateway. He retired in 1985 when his son Vincent Bernstein was assigned to take over his Dad's territory. Hank took great pleasure in fly fishing, hunting, and reading. He was active in Troop 60 BSA while his sons were earning their Eagle Scout Awards. Hank was recently recognized as being one of the oldest Eagle Scouts in Ulster County.
