Carl played football two years for Ouachita Baptist College before the war, then played three years for Oklahoma City College after he was discharged. Carl also played for the Brooklyn Dodgers of the All-American Football Conference in 1948.

 

Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:
The thing I remember most is how well I felt after a mission was over.
 
Comments:  Carl passed away on November 7 2008 in Hot Springs, AR.  He is buried at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR.
