Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:

Due to a shortage of Radar Bomb/Nav operators I served under four different pilots and crews including D.P. Woods crew and crew of Clyde A. West and Col. Alvin Moore, Sqdn. Cmdr.

I have a vivid recollection of my approximately 3 1/2 years in the military and still communicate with several co-members who were friends of mine until this day. I was proud to be a member of the 58th Bomb Wing and felt confident that we had a profound effect on bringing hostilities to an end.
