Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:

I went in as a youngster and came out an adult. My service in the 58th took me around the world to many countries and places I never dreamed of going. I flew the Hump, went to India, China, Australia, the Marianas Islands, Africa, Suez Canal and many other places of interest.   I cherish the many friendships I made. I appreciate my contacts with other cultures and the different environments we had to live in.

I am very proud to have had the opportunity to serve in the 58th, the very best wing and the 468th "Billy Mitchell Group," the outstanding Group in the war against Japan.  I look forward to our reunions. I've attended the last 23 renewing friendships and meeting new friends.
