Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:
I felt I did my part to help end WWII, and I am proud of my service and the unit I was assigned to. I was a young newcomer to the first B-29 unit, and they had a lot of stories to tell about India and China, etc. I loved listening to the stories.
Comments:
After retirement, I was Chairman of the Handicapped Children's Committee for North Arlington Elks up to the present date.I was awarded "Man of the Year" Award for the North Arlington Elks and subsequently, "Man of the Year" award for the North Central District Elks. I also was a volunteer for New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame in Teterboro, NJ
