Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:

Air Force was OK. But life in the jungles, I never want to see again. The base was in North East India. I believe it was known as Assam. Spent about ten months in the hospital. Got a Medical Discharge in Galesburg Hospital, IL.

Comments:

Flew A.T.C. over and Hospital Plane back. Spent 8-9 months in hospital. Discharged in Galesburg, IL., Mayo General Hospital on August 11, 1945.
