Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:

Comments:
Interesting note: On August 13, 1945, (near V-J Day) I was in the USA and got married to "Peg" Stone of South Hadley Falls, MA, in Denver, CO. Our best man was Ernie Brundage. Ernie was "Senior Gunner" on "O'Reilly's Daughter". He had bailed out in China in August 20, 1944, but he made it back to our ceremony!
See "Ernie's Story" - a booklet about his walk across China in 1944. (Booklet available in 58th Bomb Wing Memorial Office.)
