Post-WWII Military Service:
Reenlisted in USAF and remained active in various assignments until his discharge in 1961 from Pease Air Force Base in Portsmouth, NH. A detailed copy of his Post WWII Military Service is on file in the 58th Bomb Wing Memorial office.
 
Post-WWII Civilian Occupation(s):
After retirement, Henry remained with his family in Stratham, NH, for approximately two years. He worked in construction, building houses in Stratham. Towards the end of 1964, he began looking for work more in line with his qualifications. He was hired by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, United Technologies, in East Hartford, CT in 1965. Shortly after acquiring this job, he moved to Connecticut with his family.

After 12 years in United Technologies, he retired and remained living in CT until 1988. He and his wife, Delma, moved back to New Hampshire in 1988, for five years and in Feb. of 1993, moved to Palm Coast, Florida. Delma, his wife of 57 years, died suddenly in January of 1998.
