Book Available for Purchase

NEAM License Plate
The book Bradley Field – The First 25 Years was first published by the New England Air Museum in 1998. It is the only book ever published that details the history of Bradley International Airport from its planning stages and the start-up of its construction in 1941 as a military training base to its turnover back to the State in 1946 for use as a commercial airport.
The author, Thomas C. Palshaw, spent several years in researching the airport’s history using numerous original sources including many first-hand interviews.
The book, now in its fourth printing, is 92 pages long and is richly illustrated with 98 photographs. It sells for $18.03 including tax and is available for purchase at the Museum’s gift shop which is open daily from 10 AM – 5 PM. It can be ordered by phone and shipped for an additional $5.00 per book. To order contact Gina Maria Alimberti at 860-623-3305 x311 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
